PS, formerly The Private Suite, is a private terminal experience at Los Angeles International Airport designed for passengers traveling on commercial airlines.
Originally launched as The Private Suite, the service changed its name and is now known as PS.
Rather than beginning or ending the airport experience inside LAX’s conventional passenger terminals, eligible PS guests use a separate private facility.
Depending on the PS experience selected, services can include private TSA screening for departures, dedicated Customs and Immigration processing for applicable international arrivals, luggage assistance, private lounge accommodations and transportation across the airfield between PS and the commercial aircraft.
PS offers several experiences, including Private Suite, The Salon and PS Direct.
Reservations for the PS experience are made separately through PS.

PS LAX Departures
For passengers departing through PS (formerly The Private Suite), In Style Transportation transports you from your residence, hotel, office or other pickup location directly to the PS LAX facility.
This is different from a conventional LAX departure where the chauffeur drives into the Central Terminal Area and drops the passenger at the airline terminal.
Once you arrive at PS, the PS team manages the airport portion of its service according to your reservation, including applicable security procedures and transportation from the private terminal across the airfield to your commercial aircraft.

For PS arrivals, the passenger’s movement from the commercial aircraft to the PS facility is coordinated by PS as part of the PS experience.

PS LAX operates from a secured private terminal on West Imperial Highway, south of LAX’s main passenger terminals.
Because the PS facility is separate from the conventional LAX terminal loop, transportation to PS should be scheduled specifically for the PS facility, not simply as a standard airline-terminal drop-off.

Actual luggage capacity depends on passenger count, bag dimensions and vehicle configuration.
Golf clubs, equipment cases, strollers and oversized luggage require additional cargo space.

PS LAX Transportation For Families
Families traveling through PS can request complimentary child seats for their In Style Transportation vehicle with advance notice.
Available options include:

In Style Transportation does not stock convertible car seats.
Child seats are provided as a courtesy. A parent, guardian or responsible adult is responsible for installation, proper fit, adjustment and securing the child.

Hourly Chauffeur Service Before Or After PS
Some PS travelers require more than a simple airport transfer.
Hourly transportation can be useful when the itinerary includes meetings, meals, shopping, hotel stops, production work or several destinations before arriving at PS or after leaving the facility.
With Hourly Chauffeur Service, the chauffeur and vehicle remain assigned to your reservation for the scheduled period.
Sedans and SUVs have a 3-hour minimum. Sprinter Vans and larger vehicles have a 5-hour minimum.
PS LAX vs. Standard LAX Pickup
PS transportation should not be confused with a conventional pickup from the LAX passenger terminals.
Passengers using the regular LAX terminals follow LAX’s applicable pickup procedures. PS passengers using the PS terminal complete the PS arrival process at its separate facility before beginning their ground transportation.
That means the standard LAX center-island, white-curb and pillar-number instructions do not apply to a pickup from the PS facility.

Passengers using PS generally travel directly to the PS facility according to the instructions associated with their PS reservation rather than beginning at the conventional airline terminal.
Always follow the current instructions provided by PS for your specific reservation.
Do Standard LAX Curbside Pickup Instructions Apply At PS?
No. PS operates from a separate secured facility. The center-island, white-curb and pillar-number procedure used for our conventional LAX curbside pickups does not apply when your pickup occurs directly from PS.
